This branding project for Sambal House, developed by Oceanic Interactive, includes the logo, food panel design, and food visual display.
The logo concept focused on the chili, the main ingredient in sambal and a symbol of Sarawak’s iconic flavors. By highlighting this key element, the design clearly conveys the brand’s identity and product category. The result is a bold, distinctive mark that instantly reflects the essence of the cuisine.
For the food menu panel, clarity and usability were the main priorities. We created a clean, structured layout that allows customers to quickly navigate the menu, making the ordering experience intuitive and stress-free. Each section flows seamlessly, offering a straightforward visual journey through the offerings.
In contrast, the food visual display takes a more dynamic approach. Instead of rigid alignment, we opted for a lively, slightly unstructured arrangement to inject energy and catch the viewer’s eye. Signature dishes are grouped prominently, making a strong first impression and showcasing what Sambal House is all about it was flavor, authenticity, and bold character.
